Richard Kerry is a solicitor with over 30 years' experience, specialising in commercial and civil dispute resolution.
Richard spent the first 11 years of his career advising professional indemnity insurers in connection with claims brought against solicitors, surveyors, accountants and insurance brokers.
In 2004 Richard joined a Legal 500 recognised firm in Shrewsbury where he expanded the areas of work he dealt with to include director and shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, property claims, contested probate and will disputes and contractual disputes.
In 2012 Richard joined a boutique dispute resolution firm based in Sutton Coldfield, carrying out a management buyout in 2015 before selling the business in 2025 and joining New South Law.
Richard always remembers that his client's concerns are paramount and views all disputes as problems to be solved. He appreciates that unless carefully handled, legal disputes can quickly become stressful, time consuming and expensive. A firm believer in alternative dispute resolution and in particular mediation, Richard strives to resolve matters for his clients proactively.
Outside work Richard enjoys golf (playing) and rugby (watching).
